At Regenpreneur, we believe in creating systems that regenerate rather than deplete — systems that empower people, restore the environment, and build resilient communities. Through our family of initiatives, we bring together education, technology, and ecological design to help people live more connected, sustainable, and inspired lives.
Our work is about more than tools and technology — it’s about nurturing changemakers. Whether you’re a student, teacher, researcher, or community member, we provide pathways to learn, build, and thrive in harmony with the natural world.
Together, we’re building the knowledge, tools, and inspiration needed for a future that is resilient, regenerative, and full of possibility.

Permaculture Design Certificate – An internationally recognised programme that teaches regenerative design for food, energy, and community systems. Participants gain practical skills and create their own site design, applying permaculture principles to homes, farms, and local projects.
This is our flagship programme which we have run for the last 10 years and successfully helped hundreds of farmers design their farming systems. |

Kōkiri AI Makerspace – Based at Whanganui Intermediate, this education programme and creative space introduces students to Levels 1–3 of the Kōkiri AI journey. Here, young learners explore robotics, artificial intelligence, and sustainable design through hands-on projects that blend creativity and real-world impact.
Kōkiri AI Lab – Our lab space is where innovation takes shape. Offering Level 4 education and beyond, it’s a hub for fabrication, experimentation, and collaboration. From building robots like NuiBot to developing advanced aquaponics systems like AwaKai, this space brings ideas into reality.

Regenerative Changemaker Interviews – Inspiring conversations with farmers, educators, and innovators who are leading the way in sustainable living. These interviews share stories, insights, and practical lessons to help others create positive change in their communities and landscapes.
Four Seasons of Permaculture Workshops – Seasonal workshops that provide hands-on skills in gardening and land care. From spring planting to winter planning, these sessions connect people to the rhythms of nature and practical ways to build resilience year-round.
GrowHub – Our digital platform connects learners, families, and researchers. It provides live data, online resources, and collaborative tools, linking local action to national networks of sustainability and innovation.
AwaKai Aquaponics – A modular, scalable food system that combines fish and plants in a self-sustaining cycle. AwaKai provides households with fresh kai, schools with living science labs, and researchers with adaptable platforms for innovation.
NuiBot – A science assistant robot that brings AI into the real world. NuiBot interacts with aquaponics systems, collects data, and supports experiments, helping learners bridge the gap between ecological systems and cutting-edge technology.
MaramaTrap – A smart biodiversity light trap designed to monitor and protect native ecosystems. It brings together conservation science and digital tools, making biodiversity monitoring accessible and engaging.
